ENRICO’S ITALIAN RESTAURANT
When I was 15 years old, my first job was bussing tables at Enrico’s - the oldest Italian restaurant in my hometown.
20 years later, the owner came to me and asked if I could help him rebrand and market his restaurant.
Of course, I said yes.
WHERE WE STARTED
When Harry came to me his brand was dated, generic, and his food was poorly showcased. It was exactly what you would expect from a 50 year old Italian restaurant.
Harry wanted to update his brand and become relevant to a much younger consumer base.
HERE’S WHAT WE’VE DONE SO FAR.
FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY
First, I shot some new photos of his food. Here’s a small sample.
WEBSITE REDESIGN
Then we cleaned up his website, made it easier to navigate, and added our enticing new food imagery.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We gave Enrico’s Facebook and Instagram presence a more premium and purposeful look.
PRODUCT PACKAGING
Enrico’s launched a product line of homemade sauces, rubs, pastries and more which he sells out of the restaurant.
Now that things were looking good, Harry wanted to launch his first ad campaign.
“GET SAUCED” at enrico’s
For this campaign, Harry hired a photographer to shoot people eating pasta and drinking wine…getting sauced. Then, we used those images to get fans involved on social media. Now, Enrico’s social channels feature the perfect combination of their delicious food and the people who love to eat it.
But we wanted to do something BIGGER.
THE FIRST ANNUAL ENRICO’S SPAGHETTI-EATING CONTEST
To launch our “Let’s Get Sauced” campaign, we threw a 4-round Spaghetti-Eating Contest, the first ever in Frankfort. Not only did thousands of people attend, but a professional competitive eater came from out of state (and won) and the contest got picked up by the local news - giving us some free PR.
I designed commemorative t-shirts for the contestants to wear while they competed.
And we ran social media ads to guide people to sign up on Enrico’s website.
